About The Position

The Dixon Group is seeking an Assembler to join its production team. The role involves safely and efficiently assembling product components according to instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate has manual dexterity, follows instructions closely, and takes pride in their work. This is a manufacturing-setting position that may involve noise, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures. Safety glasses and steel-toed boots are required. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills and ability to read and understand technical instructions.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 or more hours per day.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand and wrist motions.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Visual ability to inspect small parts and read detailed instructions.
Must wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities

Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions to assemble products accurately.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively.
Perform routine quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
Identify and report defective components, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Meet daily production goals and quotas while maintaining high-quality output.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
