About The Position
Signarama is seeking a Production and Design Specialist to design, produce, and install high-quality signage while providing excellent customer service. The role involves using software, hand tools, and production machines to create a variety of signs and products, including vinyl, digital, and exterior signage. The specialist works in-store and at local customer sites, and receives in-store training in sales, product knowledge, production techniques, and related areas.
Requirements
- Comfort with computers and willingness to learn new design and point-of-sale software.
- Strong mathematics and spelling skills.
- Proficiency with measurement tools.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting over 80 pounds and climbing ladders.
Responsibilities
- Design a variety of signs, including vinyl, digital, and exterior products.
- Operate production equipment, including laminators, plotters, panel saws, and trimmers.
- Represent the company professionally in-store and during on-site installations, providing a positive customer experience.
- Maintain equipment and keep the workspace organized.
- Travel locally to assess sites, provide estimates, and perform installations.
- Monitor and manage inventory stock levels.
