Pre Flight Design and Production Specialist
About The Position
The Pre Flight Design and Production Specialist supports both the front end and downstream stages of the customer order workflow. The role includes helping customers set up designs and orders according to their specifications, preparing files for production, and checking that tasks are completed correctly. It may also include basic production work and delivering finished products to customers in person to support a positive customer experience. The position requires experience with design platforms such as InDesign and a strong understanding of Adobe tools and production workflows. The role is onsite and part time, with hourly pay listed as $17–$22 depending on design and pre-flight experience. The job details also list a salary range of $17–$21 per hour. Requirements
- High level of computer skills, including Microsoft and Google platforms, email, and chat.
- Ability to communicate electronically in a professional manner.
- Good in-person communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and take a solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Adobe Suite, including Acrobat and Illustrator.
- Ability to understand production workflows and systems.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Ability to learn processes and production systems quickly.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliability and ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with or without assistance, if needed.
- Some experience with design platforms such as InDesign.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic order design and setup based on customer specifications.
- Set up files quickly and accurately to support productive workflow.
- Communicate with the sales team to ensure order needs are met.
- Work with the production team to prepare files for successful production.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, both physically and digitally.
- Cross-train in a variety of workflow tasks based on order volume.
- Help customers set up designs and orders and, when applicable, deliver final products to customers.
