About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a Level 1 SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst to join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 mission-essential operations. In this mission-essential role, the SIGDEV Analyst will provide analytic support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses while supporting front-end systems responsible for collecting, processing, and transmitting information vital to national decision makers and mission operations. The SIGDEV Analyst will conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest, formulate analytic strategies, and identify target communications within the global network. The technology focus includes data and voice communications, DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, internet communications, and other advanced technologies over IP.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.
  • Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.
  • Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including use of the command line.
  • Experience with front-end collection systems, including survey systems, DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, and FOP configuration.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.
  • Critical thinking and reasoning skills to make analytic determinations.
  • Knowledge of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors.
  • Experience with the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
  • Experience using software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
  • Ability to develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, or presenting information.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral report repositories.
  • Ability to incorporate independent research to enhance target development.
  • Ability to identify target communications within the global network.
  • Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).
  • United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
  • Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain applicable documentation and SOPs.
