About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst – Level 1 provides analytical support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses. The analyst conducts research and analysis of collection and collateral data to identify and develop targets of interest, establish analytic strategies, and identify target communications within global networks. The position focuses on data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, internet communications, and other advanced technologies over IP. The analyst applies SIGINT methodologies, technical knowledge, critical thinking, and independent research to identify, collect, analyze, process, document, and disseminate information in support of established mission requirements and priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.
  • Within the last 5 years, at least 3 years of experience must have involved one or more of the following: Modern digital and/or optical telecommunications systems and protocols, Telephony switching system networks, Internet communications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development principles, methodologies, and target development.
  • Experience with software applications and databases used for SIGINT target development.
  • Experience applying principles and methods for exploiting foreign communications and communications systems.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral reporting repositories.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and incorporate findings into target development.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop analytical techniques and tools to collect, evaluate, analyze, document, locate, and present information.
  • Ability to support an 8-hour rotating shift schedule.
  • Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

  • Swing/Overnight Shift: 9:45 PM – 5:45 AM — 21.2% shift differential

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to identify and develop targets of interest.
  • Develop and apply analytic strategies to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses.
  • Identify target communications within global networks.
  • Apply critical thinking and analytical reasoning to make informed analytic determinations.
  • Leverage knowledge of telecommunications technologies and relevant technical topics to identify potential analytic vectors.
  • Apply principles and methods for exploiting foreign communications and communications systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information.
  • Use software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
  • Develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information.
  • Utilize SIGINT and collateral reporting repositories to support target development and analysis.
  • Conduct and incorporate independent research to enhance target development and analytic findings.
  • Analyze modern digital and optical telecommunications systems, protocols, telephony switching networks, internet communications, and IP-based technologies.
  • Support system monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and mission restoration activities as required.
  • Document analytical findings and support the communication of relevant SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
