About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst – Skill Level 1 to join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 mission-essential operations. In this role, you will help maintain the customer’s computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process, and transmit mission-critical information. The SIGDEV Analyst provides analytic and technical support to optimize, develop, and maintain assigned customer accesses. This position conducts research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest, identify target communications within global networks, and develop effective analytic strategies. The technology focus includes data and voice communications, DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, internet communications, and other advanced technologies over IP. Candidates must understand the importance of supporting a 24x7 mission environment and be flexible with their schedules to ensure mission coverage. Scheduling will be based on mission requirements while considering individual preferences when possible.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including command-line functionality
  • FORNSAT experience
  • Experience with front-end collection systems, including survey systems
  • Experience with DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
  • Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies
  • Experience with software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral reporting repositories
  • Knowledge of modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical reasoning skills
  • Ability to conduct independent research and incorporate findings to enhance target development
  • Ability to perform basic system troubleshooting
  • Ability to follow and appropriately update technical and operational documentation
  • Ability to identify target communications within global networks
  • Ability to support varying schedules in a 24x7 mission environment, including weekends and holidays
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support
  • Within the last seven (7) years, at least three (3) years of experience must have been with: Modern digital and/or optical telecommunications systems and protocols, Telephony switching system networks; and/or Internet communications
  • United States Citizenship
  • A position-appropriate security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide SIGINT development analytic support to optimize, develop, and maintain assigned customer accesses
  • Conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest
  • Develop and apply analytic strategies in support of mission requirements
  • Identify target communications within global networks
  • Apply critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinations
  • Apply knowledge of various technologies and technical topics to identify potential analytic vectors
  • Apply principles and methods for exploiting foreign communications and communications systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities
  • Utilize software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development
  • Develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information
  • Utilize SIGINT and collateral reporting repositories to support analysis and target development
  • Conduct and incorporate independent research to enhance target development
  • Support front-end collection systems and survey systems
  • Support DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
  • Monitor systems and perform basic troubleshooting in support of mission operations
  • Maintain and update technical and operational documentation as required
