About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst Level 2 to join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 mission-essential operations. In this role, the SIGDEV Analyst will provide analytic and operational support to optimize, develop, and maintain assigned customer accesses while helping ensure critical front-end systems continue to collect, process, and transmit information vital to the mission. The SIGDEV Analyst will conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest, formulate analytic strategies, and identify target communications within the global network. The technology focus includes data and voice communications, DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, modern digital/optical telecommunications systems, telephony switching system networks, internet communications, and other advanced technologies over IP.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.
  • Within the last seven (7) years, at least five (5) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.
  • Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including command-line functionality.
  • FORNSAT experience.
  • Experience with front-end collection systems, including survey systems, DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, and FOP configuration.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.
  • Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.
  • Completion of the Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).
  • Experience applying critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinations.
  • Knowledge of various technologies and/or technical topics used to identify analytic vectors.
  • Experience with the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems.
  • Experience identifying, collecting, analyzing, processing, and disseminating SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
  • Experience using software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
  • Ability to develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral report repositories.
  • Ability to conduct and incorporate independent research to enhance target development.
  • Ability to identify target communications within the global network.
  • Ability to provide SIGDEV support for optimizing and developing customer accesses.
  • United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of the Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SIGDEV analytic support to optimize, develop, and maintain assigned customer accesses.
  • Conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest and analytic strategies.
  • Identify target communications across the global network.
  • Analyze data and voice communications, including DNR, DNI, and advanced technologies operating over IP.
  • Apply knowledge of telecommunications technologies, collection systems, and protocols to SIGINT development activities.
  • Exploit foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate relevant SIGINT information.
  • Utilize SIGINT-related software applications, databases, collection systems, and reporting repositories to support target development.
  • Develop and apply techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information.
  • Conduct independent research and incorporate findings to enhance target development.
  • Independently perform SIGINT development activities and provide guidance to Level 1 contractor personnel.
  • Support system monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and mission restoration activities for designated customer systems.
