About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst Level 3 to support a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 mission operations. In this mission-essential role, you will help maintain the customer’s computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process, and transmit information vital to national decision-makers and keeping our troops safe. The SIGDEV Analyst will provide analytic support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The analyst will conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest, develop analytic strategies, and identify target communications within the global network. The technology focus includes data and voice communications, DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, and other advanced technologies over IP. This position is open to CCA candidates.

Requirements

  • At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience and demonstrated knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, at least seven (7) years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.
  • Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including use of the command line.
  • FORNSAT experience.
  • Experience with front-end collection systems, including survey systems.
  • Experience with DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.
  • Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.
  • Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).
  • Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).
  • United States Citizenship
  • Position appropriate security clearance (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytic support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses.
  • Conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest.
  • Develop analytic strategies.
  • Identify target communications within the global network.
  • Apply critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinations.
  • Apply knowledge of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors.
  • Apply principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
  • Utilize software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
  • Develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, or presenting information.
  • Utilize SIGINT and collateral report repositories and incorporate independent research to enhance target development.
  • Independently perform SIGINT development activities and provide guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 contractor personnel involved with SIGINT development.
  • Provide SIGDEV support for the purposes of optimizing and developing accesses.
