About The Position

The Shuttle Driver provides transportation for passengers between parking lots and office or plant locations during peak work hours. The role operates and maintains a shuttle bus, supports passenger needs, and follows applicable traffic laws and safety procedures. This is designated as a safety-sensitive position and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement.
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record, with no major traffic violations or accidents within a specified time frame.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with passengers.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to be reliable and punctual to adhere to schedules and meet passenger expectations.
• Physical stamina to sit for extended periods and assist passengers with boarding as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a shuttle bus in compliance with traffic laws and regulations, transporting passengers to and from designated locations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the shuttle bus is in good working condition.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Provide courteous, helpful, and responsive customer service to passengers.
• Report incidents, delays, and other relevant information to leadership.
• Maintain the shuttle, including filling the gas tank and cleaning the interior and exterior.
• Clean and sanitize the shuttle as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
