About The Position

The Parking Spot is hiring a full-time, non-CDL Shuttle Driver to safely and courteously transport customers between its parking facility and the airport. Drivers transport up to 15 passengers, assist customers with luggage, perform vehicle inspections, and provide friendly customer service. The role also involves learning the facility and airport terminals, cooperating with team members, complying with commercial vehicle regulations, and potentially cross-training for other frontline positions. The posted schedule is Friday afternoon and evening, Saturday morning and evening, Sunday morning and evening, and Monday evening. Pay is $13 per hour, plus cash and mobile tips, with regular bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
• Hold applicable licenses or badges required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Be willing to pass a physical as required by airport, federal DOT, and/or state regulations.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage, with or without an accommodation.

• Previous driver and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers between the airport terminal and The Parking Spot locations while following safe driving practices.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Greet customers and offer to assist with their luggage.
• Provide pleasant customer service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals.
• Cooperate with team members to provide the best possible service.
• Comply with applicable regulations and requirements governing commercial vehicle operation.
• Cross-train for other frontline positions when directed by management.
• Perform additional duties reasonably requested by management.
