About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Shuttle Driver in San Bernardino, California. The driver transports items between stores along assigned routes and schedules, ensuring orders are complete, properly packed, and delivered safely and on time. The role represents the company in daily interactions with clients and team members and requires a commitment to excellent customer service and workplace safety. Drivers may also assist with store or warehouse duties such as stocking and pulling parts. The posted minimum pay is $16.90 per hour.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet company insurance requirements.
• Current, valid automobile insurance with the applicant’s name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate prolonged sitting.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Ability to use a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation and route optimization.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.

• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items between stores safely and on time.
• Review orders before and after delivery to confirm they are complete, charges are correct, and the team member is satisfied.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages on time.
• When applicable, complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify a manager of issues.
• Assist with other assigned store or warehouse duties, including stocking and pulling parts.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
