About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Shuttle Driver for the Guest Services team at Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The Shuttle Driver welcomes guests, provides requested transportation in the local area, and helps create a memorable first impression throughout their stay. The role also involves sharing knowledge about the hotel, its amenities, local attractions, restaurants, traffic patterns, and directions. The position offers an opportunity to grow a hospitality career at a property that emphasizes exceptional service and guest experiences.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a customer service role with high guest interaction.
• Valid driver's license with no infractions.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Pleasant and helpful personality.
• Ability to work a full shift standing and run to retrieve cars.
• Strong desire to make an impact on other people.
• Outgoing and engaging personality.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, sincere customer service and take a genuine interest in guests.
• Welcome guests to the shuttle, open doors as needed, and assist with bags.
• Know the local area, traffic patterns, and directions to commonly visited attractions and restaurants.
• Offer recommendations for areas of interest.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operation of the shuttle and report problems requiring attention to the manager.
• Help guests secure other forms of transportation as needed.
• Work with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences and open doors for guests.
• Assist the lobby attendant in keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
• Make a positive difference for guests and employees by going beyond routine service.
