About The Position

Propark Mobility is hiring CDL Shuttle Drivers in Passaic, New Jersey, for full-time and on-call opportunities. The role transports customers to and from the facility, provides courteous passenger assistance, and operates shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently. Drivers communicate with dispatch and colleagues by two-way radio, inspect vehicles before and after trips, monitor traffic and weather, and report vehicle issues, accidents, and other safety concerns. The position requires flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The listed pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least three years of driving experience.
• Have a CDL in class A, B, or C with a passenger endorsement, as indicated by the application questions.
• Have a DOT medical card, as indicated by the application questions.
• Be able to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Be able to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Be energetic and outgoing, and able to stand, run, and carry items up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speech, with a friendly and professional approach.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively and helpfully.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• At least one year of experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive the shuttle bus to transport customers to and from the facility.
• Greet passengers and assist with loading and unloading.
• Operate the shuttle bus safely and efficiently while complying with traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctions or damage on appropriate forms.
• Use a two-way radio to communicate routes, arrivals, delays, customer pickups, and vehicle or customer issues with dispatchers, drivers, and other employees.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip shuttle bus inspections at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or a supervisor about potential problems.
• Report accidents and other safety situations to dispatch or a supervisor.
• Treat customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
