About The Position

South Fork Housing is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport apartment community residents to and from designated locations, including campus and shopping areas. The position primarily serves student housing at Brigham Young University–Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, and requires reliable operation of the shuttle on scheduled routes and timelines. The driver also supports a safe, respectful, and positive resident experience and maintains trip and vehicle records.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow schedules and adapt to minor route or timing changes.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-focused approach.

Nice To Haves

• Previous driving experience, especially in a shuttle, bus, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport residents to and from scheduled destinations on established routes and timelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the shuttle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
• Monitor passenger behavior to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
• Promptly report vehicle issues, accidents, and incidents to management.
• Greet residents, assist with questions when needed, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and represent the apartment complex positively.
• Maintain a consistent and reliable schedule for pickups and drop-offs.
• Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, and maintenance needs.
