About The Position

The Showroom Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gibson Showroom in Los Angeles. You will serve as the primary on-the-ground representative of the Gibson brand in Los Angeles — ensuring that every artist, partner, and guest who walks through the door leaves with an exceptional and memorable experience. Beyond hospitality, you will drive product placements with artists and brands, support TV and film placements, and collaborate with the broader Cultural Influence team to produce events that deepen Gibson's presence in the region.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience producing and executing events in a leadership capacity.
  • A track record of building trust through transparency, consistency, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Deep knowledge of the music industry and a genuine passion for the Gibson family of brands.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you represent the brand in every interaction.
  • Working knowledge of sound and stage production.
  • Proven ability to manage inventories of high-value products with accuracy and care.

  • Lead all efforts to maintain the showroom's visual appeal — including instrument displays, signage, and overall cleanliness — ensuring the space consistently reflects Gibson's quality and prestige.
  • Identify and execute improvements to the showroom environment that elevate the guest experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, producers, songwriters, and brand partners visiting the showroom.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Los Angeles music and creative community to grow Gibson's regional network.
