The District Manager drives success by leading and developing a high-performing team of General Managers. This role ensures sales growth, operational excellence, and a guest-obsessed culture across the region. Accountable for performance and profitability, the District Manager is both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, inspiring teams to deliver results that align with our mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive, high volume multi-unit retail leadership (district scope, 10+ units).
  • Proven ability to coach and elevate retail teams through analytics and performance metrics.
  • Expertise in Food and Beverage operations and guest experience.
  • Strong people management skills: conflict resolution, performance management, coaching.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; analytical and financial acumen a must.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and passionate about Pressed’s mission and products.
  • Must be able to travel regularly within assigned region (30%-50%)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and exceed regional sales targets and same-store growth.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that consistently delivers an exceptional experience.
  • Leverage tools like NPS and mystery shop results to improve service and drive results.
  • Identify local market opportunities and share insights with leadership.
  • Own the district's P&L, labor, and inventory management.
  • Review financials with direct reports, coaching on cost control and profitable growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety standards (including food safety, wage/hour).
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess operations, identify opportunities, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent—building a strong bench of Area and Store Managers.
  • Provide clear coaching, accountability, and succession planning to minimize turnover.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a values-driven culture across the region.
  • Lead with integrity, transparency, and a growth mindset.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert on your district’s competitive landscape.
  • Track market share, customer dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
