Shaw Contract is seeking a Showroom Manager to serve as the operational and customer experience lead for our San Francisco showroom. This role ensures the space is consistently organized, current, welcoming, and ready to support architects and designers, end users, commercial real estate firms, dealer partners, regional and national sales teams, and other internal and external stakeholders. The position combines showroom operations, sample and inventory management, sales support, customer service, and event coordination. Success requires strong organization, sound judgment, responsiveness, and a service oriented approach in a fast-moving commercial sales environment.

Requirements

  • 3 + years demonstrated customer service, administrative, showroom, hospitality, sales-support or related experience
  • Ability to work onsite at the San Francisco showroom five days per week and reliably support the daily shipping, sample replenishment and customer-service needs of the showroom. Any remote work flexibility is subject to business needs and manager approval.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, details and deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers, sales teams and internal partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to support occasional showroom events outside normal business hours.
  • Ability to reliably commute to the San Francisco showroom.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial interiors, architecture and design, flooring, furniture, building products or a related industry.
  • Design degree or experience.
  • Prior experience supporting a showroom or commercial sales organization.
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred, with the ability to learn Shaw-specific systems such as Gimball.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day showroom experience, ensuring the space is professional, organized, current and customer-ready.
  • Welcome and assist showroom visitors, helping customers navigate product options and connecting them with the appropriate Account Executive when needed.
  • Maintain product displays, architect folders and showroom sample libraries; integrate new collections and remove discontinued products.
  • Coordinate routine showroom and office services, including cleaning, equipment support, office supplies, A/V and other facility needs.
  • Maintain appropriate showroom access and key-holder records.
  • Support regional and national sales teams with showroom meetings, customer visits, product pulls, sample preparation and other sales-related needs.
  • Receive dealer and installer pricing inquiries and use Salesforce to identify and route requests to the appropriate Account Executive.
  • Use Salesforce to enter contacts, research pricing, and prepare or clone customer quotes as appropriate.
  • Assist Account Executives with pulling, staging and returning samples before and after customer meetings.
  • Provide responsive support to internal teams and customers while exercising discretion with confidential information.
  • Maintain accurate showroom inventory using Gimball and related systems.
  • Place daily showroom replenishment orders; receive, organize and put away incoming samples.
  • Coordinate outgoing and incoming customer shipments and daily carrier pickups.
  • Return samples collected from design firms to the mill and maintain orderly sample storage.
  • Provide Account Executives with a weekly report of samples sent to their assigned firms.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to plan and execute showroom events from setup through completion, including occasional events outside normal business hours.
  • Coordinate showroom and office calendars to reduce scheduling conflicts and support effective use of shared spaces.
  • Maintain the team vacation calendar and other shared scheduling tools as directed.
  • Support regional team meetings, customer presentations and other showroom-based activities.
