About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and its crew. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided on managing a shop, changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. The company describes a path for employees to move up quickly, with managers accountable for their team's execution of Take 5 standards in less than 60 days. Experienced managers may earn $55,000 or more through base salary and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure the team follows Take 5 standards for oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services.
