About The Position

Associa is seeking a full-time Shop Clerk to manage daily operations at a small amenities shop within a residential community in Kissimmee, Florida. The role involves serving residents and guests, processing sales, maintaining inventory, keeping the shop organized, and supporting community events. The Shop Clerk will work with the property management team to align shop operations with resident preferences and seasonal offerings.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, professional, positive, and helpful demeanor.
Ability to operate a cash register, handle transactions accurately, and follow financial procedures.
Ability to multitask, maintain inventory, and keep the shop well-stocked and appealing.
Basic computer skills, including comfort using a POS system, tracking inventory, and handling basic administrative tasks.
Willingness to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of retail, customer service, or cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests, assist with purchases, and provide excellent customer service.
Process transactions accurately using a POS system, handle cash and card payments, and balance the register properly.
Monitor inventory, restock shelves, and assist with ordering supplies.
Keep the shop tidy, organized, and visually appealing.
Stay informed about available products, recommend items based on resident needs, and promote community specials.
Collaborate with the property management team on shop operations, resident preferences, and seasonal offerings.
Support community activities by coordinating merchandise displays or assisting with event-related sales.
