About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) are looking for Shipside Operations Specialists (Level 4) to support the 777 Line Side Control Center (LSCC) team onsite in Everett, Washington. This role provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues. The specialist will use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by the responsible support organization. A tracking system will be utilized to document, communicate, and ensure the resolution of production issues. The role may involve conducting assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria, and may analyze and interpret data to provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues. The specialist will also coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues, and provide coaching and instruction to other teammates, working under minimal direction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
  • 10+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
