About The Position

This position handles materials from production operations through shipment to customers or other locations. The role operates forklifts, stretch-wrap equipment, and other equipment as required. Attendance during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. The position requires being present and on time, ready to work at the start of the shift, and the ability to work overtime as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 1 year of related experience required.
• Experience operating a forklift required.
• Forklift and hand truck certifications required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand job training and safety instructions.
• Some PC skills are helpful but not required.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute on a year-for-year basis if it clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Fill orders from pick lists or Bills of Lading, including broken-lot orders.
• Unload inbound materials as needed to meet production requirements.
• Load customer orders to meet freight requirements.
• Schedule own and others’ work to meet customer and production requirements.
• Attend work during the scheduled shift, arrive on time, and be ready to work at the start of the shift.
• Work overtime as required.
