About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Lead is responsible for leading all Shipping and Receiving functions while adhering to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure the quality and efficiency of the operation. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Piping Rock Health Products is a global vitamin and supplement manufacturer founded in 2011. Employment is subject to successfully clearing drug screening processes required under federal guidelines.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or Shipping and Receiving environment.
At least 1 year of experience leading associates.
Ability to read and write English.
Availability for overtime when needed.
Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed during GMP and on-the-job training.
Must successfully clear drug screening processes, including testing for illegal substances per federal guidelines, to start and maintain employment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of associates engaged in Shipping and Receiving.
Receive finished goods from the loading area and perform quality checks, including communicating with the office and team.
Review work orders to ensure the proper process is followed.
Follow safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
Assist with all job functions in the Shipping and Receiving area.
Analyze work orders to ensure efficient task assignments for Shipping and Receiving associates and hi-lo drivers.
Assist in identifying areas for associate training and development.
Maintain 100% cGMP and compliance throughout distribution center operations.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
