About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Lead leads Shipping and Receiving functions while following applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to support quality and operational efficiency. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and may require overtime when needed. The role supervises and coordinates associates, supports shipping and receiving activities, and helps ensure work orders are followed and tasks are assigned efficiently. The Lead also supports quality checks, compliance, safety, and associate training and development. The work may involve exposure to powders, chemicals, and listed food allergens, as well as physically challenging tasks.

Requirements

Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on-the-job training.
At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or Shipping and Receiving environment.
At least 1 year of experience leading associates.
Ability to read and write English.
Must be available for overtime when needed.
Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
Must successfully clear drug-screening processes, including testing for illegal substances per Federal Guidelines, to start and maintain employment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate associates engaged in Shipping and Receiving.
Receive finished goods from the loading area and perform quality checks, including communicating with the office and team.
Review work orders to ensure the proper process is being followed.
Follow safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
Assist with all job functions in the Shipping and Receiving area.
Analyze work orders to ensure efficient task assignment for Shipping and Receiving associates and hi-lo drivers.
Assist in identifying areas for associate training and development.
Maintain 100% cGMP and compliance during complete distribution center operations.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
