About The Position

At Columbia Gorge Motors, the Shipping/ Receiving Technician supports incoming and outgoing parts operations. The role includes entering related data into company systems, maintaining shelf stock, preparing shipments, and keeping the parts storage area neat. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Computer competency.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Results-driven approach.
• Customer relations skills.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to or over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts from other vendors.
• Deliver orders from other vendors.
• Stock shelves.
• Organize incoming and outgoing orders.
• Answer phones.
• Order parts from other vendors.
• Keep the department clean.
• Enter data into company systems related to incoming and outgoing parts.
• Prepare shipments and maintain shelf stock and an orderly parts storage area.
• Maintain company standards while driving the parts truck to and from vendors.
