Requirements

• A successful shipping supervisor is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication.
• Must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems.
• Great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• High School diploma / GED, required
• 2-5 years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manages daily shipping and distribution
• Structures and coordinates the daily workload for the entire shipping department to ensure that all scheduled incoming and outgoing shipments meet their appropriate deadlines.
• Assists shipping team when needed with any tasks to ensure that deadlines are met and shipments are sent out according to schedule.
