About The Position

Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, prefabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others. The Shipping/Receiving crew is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of materials to support inventory and production operations. This role involves supervising the crew, ensuring safety, and managing workflow.

Requirements

Required to be at work and fit for duty at start of shift
Breaks are to be taken at scheduled times unless directed otherwise by supervisor
Must be back on shop floor immediately following break buzzer

Responsibilities

Load/Unload/Stage materials
Document Materials Shipped/Received
Maintain Organized Inventory of Materials
Walk work areas prior to shift
Assess new/potential hazards
Communicate with other department leads to avoid workflow conflicts
Outline tasks, priorities, and allotted time for each task
Communicate goals, hazards, other important details to team in daily JSA meeting
Ensure crew members begin assigned tasks promptly following inspections and remain focused on assigned work unless redirected by a supervisor
Direct individual(s) to sub-tasks when requested and ensure they resume main responsibility once completed
Address and resolve issues and discrepancies with the team to eliminate unnecessary rework/man hours
Guide team members to see what additional tasks can be completed if main tasks are finished and no further instructions have been provided
Ensure materials shipped/received are in good condition and accurate inventory is verified
Document and report all discrepancies to supervisor immediately
