About The Position

This is a Full Time/Hourly Position in the Recycling Division. The primary responsibilities include receiving material, preparing it for production and shipping, and shipping materials. The role requires accurate record keeping, planning load placement, and overseeing ground level inventory management. Regular and timely attendance is expected, along with adherence to 5S foundations for lean production.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred but not required
• Good work record and practices
• Ability to properly drive and utilize a forklift
• Ability to perform all physical labor tasks
• Self-starter that takes initiative along with analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Accuracy with record keeping and good penmanship
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to making general observations of the facility

• Previous supervisory experience preferred

• Dumping loads
• Loading loose or packaged materials while ensuring quality standards
• Identifying material for production or lab uses
• Helping with other production related tasks
• Accurate record keeping
• Unloading customers
• Planning placement for loads in advance
• Oversees ground level inventory management
• Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes
