About The Position

C&Y Global Inc., a scrap-metal recycling company with warehouses in multiple U.S. cities, is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Specialist for a long-term career opportunity. This in-person, full-time role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an annual salary of $45,000 to $70,000, depending on experience. The position handles inbound material weighing and records, supplier settlements and communications, warehouse paperwork and labeling, outbound shipping documentation, and coordination with logistics and overseas shipping teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college degree; the posting also lists Bachelor’s or Master’s under education.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Proficient in data entry with minimal errors and attentive to detail.
• Able to work under high time pressure while maintaining high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Well-organized, takes initiative, and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft suites.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to undergo a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and record all material entering the warehouse.
• Generate and send settlements to suppliers.
• Enter inbound material weights, descriptions, and pictures into the company database.
• Communicate with suppliers about inbound shipments and address their concerns.
• Communicate with accounting about supplier payments.
• Ensure inbound material is correctly labeled.
• Organize and accurately file paperwork in a timely manner.
• Plan containers and perform quality control.
• Complete customer packing lists and invoices.
• Communicate with the overseas shipping team about outbound materials.
• Assist the logistics team with coordinating outbound shipments as needed.
