About The Position

C&Y Global Inc., a scrap-metal recycling company established in 2004, is hiring a Bilingual Shipping & Receiving Specialist who speaks Mandarin Chinese and English. The role supports warehouse receiving and shipping operations, supplier communication, documentation, quality control, and coordination with overseas shipping and logistics teams. Work locations are Kansas City, Chicago, Houston, or Atlanta. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The annual salary is $45,000–$70,000, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college degree; the posting also lists a bachelor’s or master’s degree under education.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Proficiency in data entry with minimal errors and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under high time pressure while maintaining work quality with minimal supervision.
• Strong organization, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft suites.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and record all material entering the warehouse.
• Generate and send settlements to suppliers.
• Enter inbound material weights, descriptions, and pictures into the company database.
• Communicate with suppliers about inbound shipments and address supplier concerns.
• Coordinate with accounting regarding supplier payments.
• Ensure inbound material is correctly labeled.
• Organize and accurately file paperwork in a timely manner.
• Plan containers and perform quality control.
• Complete customer packing lists and invoices.
• Communicate with the overseas shipping team about outbound materials.
• Assist the logistics team in coordinating outbound shipments as needed.
