About The Position

C&Y Global Inc., a scrap-metal recycling company established in 2004, is hiring a Bilingual (Chinese) Shipping & Receiving Specialist for its warehouse operations. The role handles inbound material receiving and documentation, supplier communications and settlements, quality control, packing and invoicing, and coordination of outbound shipments with overseas shipping and logistics teams. The position requires computer proficiency and attention to detail.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated annual salary range is $45,000 to $70,000, depending on experience. Work is in person. The job is full-time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college degree; the posting also lists Bachelor’s or Master’s under education.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Proficient in data entry with minimal errors and detail-oriented.
• Able to work under high time pressure while maintaining high work quality under minimum supervision.
• Well-organized, takes initiative, and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft suites.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to undergo a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and record the weight of all material entering the warehouse.
• Generate and send settlements to suppliers.
• Enter the weight, description, and pictures of inbound material into the company database.
• Communicate with suppliers about inbound shipments.
• Communicate with accounting regarding supplier payments.
• Respond to supplier concerns.
• Ensure correct labels are placed on all inbound material.
• Organize and accurately file paperwork in a timely manner.
• Plan containers and perform quality control.
• Complete packing lists and invoices for customers.
• Communicate with the overseas shipping team about outbound materials.
• Assist the logistics team in coordinating outbound shipments as needed.
