Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years related experience.
  • Specialized Knowledge: May be required to maintain a commercial drivers license to adhere to government standards.
  • Must maintain a positive motor vehicle record.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receives materials and verifies correctness of shipments against documentation, checks for shortages and damaged goods.
  • Prepares shipments and completes paperwork for outbound freight.
  • Routes materials to proper departments.
  • Coordinates and maintains MRO stock and inventory keeping supplies at proper levels.
  • Organizes and maintains direct materials and/or battery components stock and fills requisitions on a timely basis to ensure the flow of the battery production process.
  • Provides customer service in manning of stockroom counter, processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • May also organize and maintain finished goods inventory.
  • Maintains chemical storage facility.
  • May drive company commercial vehicle.
  • Performs other functions as required.
