About The Position

NIC Global is hiring a Shipping Receiving Clerk to support outgoing shipments and incoming inventory. The role pulls and packages orders, prepares cartons and pallets for shipment, loads and unloads freight, and puts away inventory in designated stockroom locations. The clerk also conducts daily cycle counts and may assist the main packaging department when time allows. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

This is a day-shift position. The company employs more than 600 people across Washington, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas and describes its workplace as having employee appreciation events and recognition programs.

Requirements

• One year of related experience.
• High school-level education or equivalent training/work experience.
• Ability to operate an electric forklift and a stand-up forklift.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computer entry processes.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders and package them for daily shipments.
• Affix shipping labels to cartons and pallets.
• Shrink-wrap and weigh pallets and cartons for outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload freight carriers using an electric forklift.
• Count incoming inventory and put it away in designated stockroom locations using a stand-up forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Assist the main packaging department when time allows.
