About The Position

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for their 1st Shift, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and supporting production. Requirements

General knowledge of shipping, receiving, & warehouse operations.
Basic computer knowledge & skills – Word, Excel, Outlook email, ERP software.
Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, changing environment.
Good communications skills.
Must be able to work well under sometimes stressful work conditions.
Prior forklift experience required.
Must be willing to load/ unload material into and out of trailers/ trucks or other vehicles.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of warehousing and bar-coding systems is a plus.
Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

Expedite material needed for shipment with the production plant as needed.
Schedule out-bound carrier pick-ups as needed.
Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group.
Schedule in-bound carrier delivery appointments with use of Outlook calendar.
Entry of raw material film receipts & label printing for inbounds via ASN notification & ‘direct’ delivery to the warehouse.
Entry of stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant.
Maintains all Company equipment to ensure safe, efficient and trouble-free condition.
Assists other employees in all buildings with the safe loading/ unloading, movement and storage of raw, WIP and finished materials.
Ability to operate dock handling equipment (stand -up lifts, sit down lifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Ensures maintenance of vehicles, trailers and associated equipment is being performed and that all equipment is kept in safe operating condition.
