About The Position
The Shipping Manager leads a critical function responsible for ensuring materials and products are shipped accurately, safely, and on time. The role drives operational excellence, develops a high-performing team, and partners across the site to support business objectives and the delivery of life-changing therapies. This is a site-based role in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with a Monday-Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Experience leading shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements and compliance standards.
- Experience using shipping software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Supervise, coach, and develop shipping personnel to support performance and growth.
- Plan shipping schedules and allocate resources to meet business requirements.
- Monitor shipments and resolve issues that impact delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Partner with Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to optimize operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and service levels.
