About The Position
Retail First is a leading company in the retail industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and reliable customer service. We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipping operations and support efficient logistics processes within our warehouse. The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily shipping activities, preparing accurate shipping documentation, creating carrier labels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role requires hands-on experience with major carriers and strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of shipping or logistics experience
- Hands-on experience with UPS and FedEx shipping platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes preferred
- ERP or shipping software experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and process shipping labels using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers
- Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading, labels
- Schedule carrier pickups and track outbound shipments
- Verify shipment weights, dimensions, and addresses for accuracy
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to meet shipping deadlines
- Resolve shipping issues, delivery discrepancies, and carrier claims
- Maintain organized shipping records and documentation
