About The Position

The Shipping Loader supports efficient warehouse operations during the second shift. The role loads trailers safely, verifies shipments, and helps maintain team and productivity standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at the Dollar Tree distribution center in Joliet, Illinois.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and load boxes for 8 or more hours.
• Team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load trailers in accordance with Dollar Tree safety policies to help prevent personal injuries and property damage.
• Load freight while leaving appropriate space at the end of the trailer and determine when overflow is necessary.
• Check merchandise for shipment accuracy and damage, and ensure it is loaded onto the proper trailer.
• Work with the team to prevent production downtime caused by overloading or merchandise being left on the extender.
• Meet established engineered or productivity standards daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
