About The Position

Daniels Health is hiring a full-time Warehouse Worker for its medical waste treatment facility in Walton, Kentucky. The role involves receiving and checking in medical waste containers, verifying paperwork, weighing incoming containers, moving and unloading waste, and operating equipment used to treat and sanitize containers. The position is a direct hire at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated second-shift schedule of 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The position pays a set rate of $20 per hour. Full-time roles include benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labor-intensive warehouse job, including repetitive lifting of containers weighing 50 to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform basic math and accurately read and record weights.
Familiarity with weighbridge or scale systems.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in personal protective equipment (PPE).
Proven longevity with employers.
Willingness to complete a five-panel urine drug screening.
Willingness to complete a seven-year background check.
Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Receive and check in sharps and medical waste containers.
Verify required paperwork for processing containers.
Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers and accurately record weights.
Move and unload waste containers.
Operate a forklift to load an autoclave.
Load and operate the autoclave.
Load the Washsmart container washing and sanitization system.
Lift bins weighing 55 pounds and push four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining quality standards.
