Warehouse Loader (2pm to 10:30pm)
About The Position
Etna Supply is hiring a Second Shift Warehouse Loader to help ensure customers receive complete and accurate shipments. The role uses RF scanners to pick and organize orders, load trucks, verify shipment accuracy, and keep the warehouse and yard clean and organized. Approximately 60% of the work takes place outdoors, with potential exposure to extreme weather. The work is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor exposure, and noise levels are generally moderate. The position requires reliable attendance and the ability to perform essential job functions safely and with consistent alertness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; or six months of warehouse, shipping, order-picking, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and stress management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic math skills, with or without a calculator.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and with consistent alertness.
- Ability to pass a substance abuse screening.

- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure shipments are complete and accurate to provide a positive customer experience.
- Handle materials and products with care.
- Use RF scanners to retrieve cartons, pallets, and orders in the proper sequence according to shipping manifests.
- Load cartons, pallets, and orders onto trucks.
- Verify work to prevent shipping and inventory errors.
- Identify errors from earlier processes and stage affected materials for correction.
- Follow applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
