About The Position

Dollar Tree is hiring an Order Selector for its fast-paced distribution center in Joliet, Illinois. The role involves safely and efficiently handling freight and inventory, processing and shipping merchandise accurately, and assisting with receiving and other general warehouse duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and load boxes for 8 or more hours.
• Team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, quickly, and efficiently while handling freight and inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately process, pack, load, and ship freight.
• Check merchandise to confirm shipments are accurate and items are undamaged.
• Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
• Assist with receiving duties.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
