About The Position

The Shipping I team member supports warehouse and shipping operations at Milgard Windows and Doors by assisting with product staging, material movement, loading activities, inventory accuracy, and general warehouse organization. This is a developmental position that provides the opportunity to learn shipping processes and progress into more advanced shipping responsibilities, with the goal of developing into a Shipping II role. The position is located in Fife, Washington, and works a swing shift from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with mandatory overtime. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, plus a $2.00-per-hour swing shift differential. The role involves working in warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations, noise, and dust, and on concrete flooring. Team members must maintain a consistent pace while meeting safety and quality expectations and follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse protocols. Requirements

Ability to frequently stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse.
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and products.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and participate in team lifts when necessary.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
Ability to safely handle glass, frames, and finished products.
Ability to use handheld scanners and perform basic computer-related tasks.
Ability to stand for extended periods during 10- to 12-hour shifts.
Fine motor skills for scanning, handling tools, and completing documentation.
Ability to visually inspect products and identify quality concerns or defects.
Ability to walk and work on concrete flooring throughout the shift.
Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations, noise, and dust.
Ability to maintain a consistent work pace while meeting safety and quality expectations.
Strong attention to detail when staging, verifying, and handling products.
