About The Position

The Shipping Group Lead provides support to the department supervisor and requires a goal-oriented individual who can multitask, balance workload, and communicate effectively. The successful candidate will fulfill the supervisor role as needed during the supervisor’s absence and perform other related assigned duties. The position is full-time, with a first-shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in a courteous and cordial manner.
• Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks.
• Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
