About The Position

The Shipping Group Lead supports the department supervisor and performs other assigned duties. The role requires a goal-oriented individual who can multitask, communicate effectively, and balance workload. The successful candidate will fill in for the supervisor as needed during their absence. This is a first-shift position scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with courtesy and cordiality.
• Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks.
• Ability to work in a seasonally warm or cool environment.
• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing; normal eyesight, regular or corrected.
• Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
