About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator coordinates the storage, receiving, and shipment of products while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations. The role works Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM in Surprise, Arizona, at a rate of $23.00–$24.00 per hour.

The position coordinates receiving, storing, testing, and shipping activities; provides shipping and routing instructions; and works with carriers on pickups and deliveries. It also helps plan transportation routes and delivery schedules, resolves shipping discrepancies, and supports warehouse safety and security. The role includes preparing operational and safety documentation and inspecting warehouse conditions, equipment, and vehicle fleets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related warehouse, shipping, logistics, or coordination experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; reasonable accommodations may be provided as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storing, testing, and shipping activities.
• Provide shipping instructions and routing information.
• Coordinate with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries.
• Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates.
• Help plan transportation routes and delivery schedules.
• Review invoices, work orders, and forecasts to prepare for peak shipping periods.
• Resolve damages, shortages, and product discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
• Support warehouse safety and security procedures.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and operational or safety documentation.
• Inspect warehouse conditions, equipment, and vehicle fleets.
• Assist with related shipping and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
