About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator supports smooth manufacturing operations by ensuring finished products are loaded and shipped accurately and efficiently. The role coordinates outbound shipments, prepares and verifies shipping documentation, safely loads products, and maintains organized yard space to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and may include other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
1–3 years of shipping, logistics, or yard experience.
Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
Ability to communicate well with others.
Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, manifests, and production reports.
Ability to count accurately.
Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision.
Ability to use EPICOR computer software.
Team-oriented approach with a focus on customer service and quality.
Reliable attendance.
Ability to provide customer service by email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound shipments according to schedules and customer requirements.
Verify shipment contents against packing lists and bills of lading.
Communicate with drivers, logistics partners, and internal departments about load times and paperwork.
Maintain accurate shipping records and enter data into ERP or warehouse systems.
Inspect trailers for cleanliness and readiness before loading.
Organize and maintain yard space for trailers, boats, or materials to support efficient flow and storage.
Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
Support inventory accuracy through proper labeling, scanning, and documentation.
Collaborate with production, customer service, and warehouse teams to support daily operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
