About The Position

Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the warehousing of finished good products, including receiving, storing, packaging, inventory management, and cycle counting. Executes simple shipments through UPS and FedEx. Ensure compliance with all department/ company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping processes required
  • Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills are required
  • Ability to read, process, and respond to email messages regarding shipments
  • Ability to adapt to production schedule changes and accept constructive feedback
  • Display cross‑cultural sensitivity while working in a diverse employee population
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Knowledge of LTL BOLs preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems preferred
  • Forklift experience or license preferred
  • Experience using computers, email, and internet preferred

Responsibilities

  • Must have experience in computerized ERP and internet shipping systems (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip platforms) to generate labels, confirm shipment details, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Process small-parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments using computerized ERP and internet shipping systems
  • Serve as point of contact for shipping questions related to routine sales orders
  • Package and process routine sales orders for shipment
  • Maintain accuracy in small‑parcel shipments
  • Research, and resolve variances in shipments to maintain department accuracy goals
  • Pick and/or pack sales orders for intercompany and customer shipments
  • Receive, cycle count, pick orders, package, and put away product as assigned
  • Perform inventory transaction entries
  • Load and unload trucks and move materials between departments
  • Identify consolidation potential to maximize warehouse space
  • Assist with training of new employees
  • Assist in physical inventory
  • Update and maintain accurate computerized and/or manual logs
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck
  • Follow material handling techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures
  • Assist with regular clean‑up duties
