About The Position

Vera Bradley is hiring a seasonal Shipping Clerk for its Distribution Center to support the 2026 holiday season. The role focuses on accurately selecting, packaging, auditing, and shipping customer orders. Peak season runs November 10 through December 25. First-shift hours are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; second-shift hours are 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with mixed-shift options available. Pay is $16.25 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour for hours worked after 3:00 PM.

The position is in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment. Work involves constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds. The employee must have the physical stamina to maintain adequate productivity and the sensory skills and dexterity needed for the work. Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off conveyor belts and stack them orderly on the loading dock or load them into trucks.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
