About The Position

Vera Bradley is hiring a seasonal Shipping Clerk to accurately select, package, and ship customer orders as part of its Distribution Center team for the 2026 holiday season. Seasonal opportunities are available now, with peak season running November 10 through December 25. The base pay is $16.25 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour for hours worked after 3:00 PM. Shift options include first shift (6:30 AM–3:00 PM), second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), and mixed shifts.

The role works in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment and supports order fulfillment, shipping, and other Operations activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Shipping with PTL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off the conveyor belt; stack boxes orderly on the loading dock and/or load them into a truck.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
