The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing and coordinating daily route manifests, verifying receiving and shipping windows, updating the hot parts board, managing dock and yard inventory, trailer movements, and trailer tracking. This role also involves maintaining accurate paperwork for trailer inventory, managing packing slips and returnable containers, tracking truckload utilization (TUMS), and coordinating logistics with outside warehouses. The position requires inputting incoming receipts, maintaining CTPAT requirements, and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures. The Shipping Clerk must also maintain all BOS requirements for shipping, receiving, and transportation management.
