About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Team Lead helps keep operations running smoothly by organizing and tracking materials and shipments, supporting production, and leading team members. The role manages inventory, prepares finished products for shipment, maintains accurate records, oversees material-handling equipment, and supports daily shipping and receiving goals. The position is located at 18 Kobe Way, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with a $0.50 shift differential if applicable. The company offers annual raises of up to $1.00 per hour, skills-based pay increases of $0.50 per hour per level for up to four levels, and career advancement opportunities through promotion from within. The workplace is described as safe, clean, and drug-free.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic English skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Leadership skills and the ability to train and support team members.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Identify, label, organize, and track materials and supplies.
• Locate, verify, and deliver materials to work centers according to production orders.
• Process credit-return materials and restock items in their proper locations.
• Prepare, secure, document, and track finished products for shipment.
• Accurately record deliveries, inventory locations, and units shipped.
• Coordinate schedules, manage corrective actions, and train team members.
• Inspect material-handling equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Serve as a resource for shipping and receiving activities and help the team meet daily goals.
