About The Position

The Shift Supervisor leads a Starbucks coffeehouse shift, helping create a warm and welcoming space for the community. The role involves leading with craft and care, preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, and supporting store operations in accordance with company policies and standards. The position also includes directing and coordinating the work of other employees.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including those for quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
